In 2020, Echarte and co-counsel Aaron Karger, successfully litigated a Title IX case against the School Board of Miami-Dade County on behalf of several victims of sexual abuse. The case received extensive news media attention (Miami Herald Article) (Daily Business Review Article).
Other notable cases over the years include a $1.5 million settlement in a slip-and-fall case at a hotel, a $2.45 million result in for victims and family members of a Super Bowl day shooting at a Liberty City apartment complex, and $1.45 million settlement in an apartment complex shooting.
In 2016, Echarte litigated a negligent security case involving a young father who was shot 6 times in an attempted home invasion at a condominium located in Miami. As a result of the crime, the 22-year-old was rendered an incomplete paraplegic. Echarte was able to earn a $10.6 million settlement result for the Haggard Law client and his family.
