Earlier today, NBC South Florida visited The Haggard Law Firm to speak with the family members of Danny Fundora who was killed in early 2013. The person or people who took his life have not been caught. We hope the upcoming story by NBC will draw new attention to the murder case. The Haggard Law Firm represents the Fundora family in a negligent security lawsuit against the supermarket where Danny was killed. The business did not take the security measures needed to stop the horrible incident.

Danny Fundora lost his life in a brutal and violent incident. Compounding this tragedy is the fact that this incident was completely predictable and preventable. Top Value supermarket operated in an area where crime was a regular occurrence, and they completely neglected to take the necessary steps to protect their customers coming and going to their property.
Within a six-month period, two of their customers were killed when leaving their store in completely separate incidents.
The loss of Danny has left a hole in the hearts of his family which can never be repaired. Danny was a bright, thoughtful, artistic and intelligent young man. His family carries that loss with them every second of every day.
Unfortunately, his assailant has never been identified or caught despite excellent work by the Miami-Dade Police Department. Our representation of the Fundora family goes far beyond litigating their civil suit. It’s our hope that by keeping this case in the public eye, someone will come forward and help identify Danny’s killer
