William Andrew Haggard

William Andrew “Andy” Haggard was born and raised in Miami and graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1960. For the last 55 years he has lived in Coral Gables.
Since 1972 he has represented plaintiffs in nearly every conceivable kind of personal injury case and has tried more than 150 jury trials. He is a true leader in his profession and while he represents his clients aggressively, he is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards of professional representation and civility in the practice of law. He is a frequent speaker in continuing education for trial techniques. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, limited to lawyers you have won million-plus verdicts and settlements. Andy Haggard also has been listed in all recent additions of Super Lawyers and the Best Lawyers in America. He has been honored to receive the prestigious 2015 Southern Trial Lawyers Association “War Horse Award” and the 2014 “Al J. Cone Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Florida Justice Association.
Haggard received his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and his law degree from Mercer University College of Law. He entered trial law immediately after serving as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the United States Air Force, where he was the youngest military judge ever selected in the field of trial litigation.
